From a "one man brand" to a team effort

Background

Bob Dawe is a successful real estate agent specializing in Calgary's inner city north and was looking to revamp his office's corporate identity to better represent the high level of service his operation offers, and the wide range of sophisticated urban properties they represent. As well, his office had grown to include several associates, and he wanted to extend the good will his personal brand had acquired to his associates.

Strut's Solution

A logo based on Bob's signature was created to represent a personal endorsement of his associates.

In place of traditional cheesy realtor photos, we shot Bob and his team in relaxed poses and casual clothing, giving them a fresh and approachable look.

A variety of communications materiel was designed and produced to increase awareness in neighborhoods they serve. A door hangar was developed which is distributed in person to streets where Bob Dawe's team has recently sold a house. If no one is home a door hangar can be left to let the homeowner know about the visit, and offer them a free coffee at a local neibourhood cafe.

Results

Since the launch of Bob Dawe's new brand visibility of the brand has jumped dramatically. Potential clients have felt more comfortable being referred to an associate rather than working with Bob himself.

Business cards use images of all three associates, with the card owner's image at the forefront.
A logo based on Bob Dawe's signature emphasizes his ongoing direct involvement in the company, and represents a personal endorsement of his associates.
Marketing material included door-hangars which can be distributed in person in neighborhoods where Bob Dawe's team has recently sold a house.
