Branding a quarter-billion dollar logistics company.

Background

When Mullen Transportation and Producers Oil Field merged to form the Mullen Group Income Fund, their high-growth, northern-based assets were spun-off as Horizon North Logistics Inc.

As a leading provider of marine transportation, camps and catering, and matting solutions, Horizon North supports oil & gas exploration and production, mining operations, and the construction industry.

Strut's Solution

The logo and visual identity was created to identify Horizon North as a specialist in the harsh and remote northern environment. Strut developed the Taking You Beyond™ tagline to reinforce the idea that Horizon provides clients with the skills and resources to operate wherever their projects take them.

From this foundation, tradeshow displays, print advertisements and vehicle/fleet signage were created to support the company’s launch.

Results

Horizon North started life with a unique brand, which immediately established the company's strong position. It allowed the many different operating units (each with legacy identities) to quickly feel part of the this large, new organization, and fostered investor confidence by demonstrating the vision of the company.



Horizon North's logo is designed to capture the remote northern land and seascape in which they operate.
A sales brochure for Horizon's Arctic Off-shore Services demonstrates their unique capabilities supporting off-shore exploration and drilling.
Horizon North's excellent safety record allows them to win large projects. Strut has worked closely with management to build an unrivaled set of Health, Safety and Environment tools and guides to foster, and highlight HSE best practices.
