Strutbot
We had tried a number of different project management and time tracking software packages over the years, but always found that they didn’t quite fit our needs. With a pool of smart developers and designers at hand, we decided to build our own.
StrutBot™ is our custom built, web-based project management platform. It allows us to open and manage project dockets, track time and expenses, set and monitor project deliverables and produce estimates and invoices – all extremely valuable to help us track your project from beginning to end, help us keep things on budget, and monitor workflow patterns to ensure we are staffed appropriately.
In addition to a Milestones Dashboard that manages official project deliverables, Strutbot™ also contains a personal To-Do List function that helps each Strut person keep track of their personal tasks. StrutBot™ also has an internal forum for sharing interesting links, posts, the occasional trash-talking and just plain silliness.
Image Database
In our business we live and breathe images. In many cases the ability to quickly find the images we need can make or break a tight-turnaround project.
Our StrutBot™ includes a powerful image library where we store our client’s images. Keywords make everything searchable, so they are only a few clicks away the next time they’re needed. It’s easy for us to locate “the photo of that guy we used back at the beginning of last year” – saving time and money looking for existing photos, or eliminating the cost of reshooting images.
Even better, our clients have access to the StrutBot’s image database. Log-in to your private image gallery and download a copy of whatever you need.
Beer:30™
We don’t actually own the trademark on this one, but we’re working on it. There has been a long-standing, open invitation for our clients to join us for a beverage and friendly discussion at Beer:30 on Thursday afternoons. Not into beer? Substitute Coffee:30, Juice:30, Wine:30, or whatever your drink of choice.
It’s a great opportunity to get to know each other better outside of the daily grind, or to chat about what you’ve got going on... all off-the-meter, of course.
