Our most rewarding working relationships are with clients with whom we have an open dialogue and are able to push each other to produce stronger, more effective work. We’ll push back if we feel that a client is losing sight of the big picture and getting hung up on a subjective detail, but we also understand that no one knows your business better than you. We’re always open to feedback.

 

Three Important Steps

First, we LISTEN. We learn everything we can about your business. Listen to where you’ve been and where you want to go. And if you don’t tell us what we’d like to know, we ask you questions. Sometimes tough questions, but don’t be afraid.

Then we THINK. Think about your strengths and weaknesses; your competitors and target markets; your challenges and opportunities. We think until our brains hurt and we know we’ve found the right strategy and direction.

Now we DO. We take everything we’ve learned, round up all our thoughts and turn that into tangible things that you can look at and listen to and that get you excited.

And a long the way we talk. Sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. It depends on the project and what you have time for, but rest assured you’ll always be in the loop all along the way.

BrandBase™

Over the years we’ve developed a process to help us develop a strong brand -- often it help our clients learn more about themselves. BrandBase™ is a comprehensive 10-part brand development system that forms a solid strategic foundation for your new brand. The end-product of our BrandBase™ process is a clear picture of the core values, messaging and positioning strategy required to achieve your objectives for the brand.

Based on the specific requirements and budget of your project BrandBase™ will often include additional tools such as an in-depth market analysis and competitive assessment, public awareness and perception polling, and/or focus group testing.

If all of this is starting to sound complicated, don’t worry. BrandBase has a little brother, BrandBase™Lite. It’s a more informal process, and is available to any client at no charge. It involves the Strut team working through the process with you in a more casual manner. We can often work through the main stages with your team in an afternoon workshop.
