Strut branded this Razer's Kamikaze programming using a "mech-style" Japanese robot version of their "pegacorn" mascot, a television stabbed with samurai swords as rabbit-ear antennas and a good helping of spattered blood.

Strut developed a new brand to convey their unique approach. The overlapping rings in the circle represent Aspen's many interlocking support services and partner organizations which help bolster individuals and families.

Global Petroleum Show 2010

Logo Design

The Global Petroleum Show is DMG World Media's premiere event. As the world's largest oil and gas tradeshow it attracts visitors from over 100 countries who share ideas and innovations and participate in educational sessions.

While awareness of the show runs extremely high, research indicated a very low recall of their identity. The new wordmark Strut developed sheds their original dark "globe" visual, instead using a clean and bold typographic approach. The new wordmark concentrates on what people remember about the event, communicating the name in a clear fresh way.

Horizon North Logistics

Identity, Communications Materials and Website

Horizon North is a logistics company supporting oil & gas producers and other resource development focused companies. They provide marine services, mobile structures, camps and catering and matting solutions.

The logo depicts the sun rising over an arctic horizon and reflecting upon the ocean's surface. The line work and graphic style of the illustration hints at aboriginal art.

Preo Software is the market leader in providing Print Knowledge Management Systems (PKMS) to enterprises around the world. Their Printelligence flagship product helps decrease an organization’s print volume by influencing employee printing behavior and tracking costs.

Using a universally recognizable page icon with a highly stylized custom type treatment allows the Preo brand to "own the printed page".

Murrieta's Westcoast Bar & Grill

Identity for Tomato Festival Promotion

With a fresh approach to seafood, steak and pasta dishes, and a wine list of over 250 distinctive labels from around the Pacific Rim, Murrieta's restaurants are a celebrated dining tradition in Calgary, Canmore and Edmonton.

To promote their annual Tomato Festival, Strut developed a hand-lettered wordmark accented with a large palette of tomato illustrations. Mixed and re-mixed over a wide number of applications, including buttons and aprons, as well as advertising, the Tomato Festival branding raised awareness of Murrieta's unique culinary promotion.

E=mc2 Event Management

E=mc2 is Alberta's largest event management company, and was an early leader in moving the industry from semi-professional "party planners" to a professional industry focused on delivering precision-planned, strategically-driven events.

Strut developed their corporate identity including logo, tagline and communications pieces aimed at positioning the company as eminently professional and process-driven.

Kelly Brothers - Film Production Company

Logo, Stationery Package & Web Site

Kelly Brothers Productions is a full service film production company founded by siblings Rob and Dave Kelly. The Kelly brothers have extensive experience in film & television, including writing, producing and directing countless projects, but for contractual reasons they could not show off the work.
Strut's task was to create a fun site that played up the personalities of the two founders. The site was to act as an "extended business card" -- purely as a window into their personality. Once their reel has developed the site will show off their corporate video and commercial services.

Kelly Brothers Productions is a full service film production company founded by siblings Rob and Dave Kelly. The Kelly brothers have extensive experience in film & television, including writing, producing and directing countless projects.

Strut created a fun identity that plays up the personalities of the two founders. The identity uses absurdly grand monumental sculpture printed using a course halftone and a simulated soviet-quality print job.
